Privacy Policy
Snoozless ("we", "us", the "app") is an alarm app that helps you wake up on time by requiring real-world wake-up missions. We care about your privacy and keep the data we handle to a minimum. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Alarms & app settings. Your alarms, missions, sounds, streaks and preferences are stored locally on your device.
- Account information. To sync across devices, subscribe, or join the referral program, you sign in with Sign in with Apple or Google. This creates an account identified by a user ID and, where provided, your name and email address. If you set a profile photo, it is uploaded to our backend so it can appear on your profile and leaderboards.
- Wake-up history. Records of completed wake-ups and streaks are stored on your device. If you are signed in, a copy may be stored in our backend so your progress is available across devices.
- Apple Health data. If you connect Apple Health, Snoozless reads your sleep data (time asleep, sleep stages, time in bed) to show sleep summaries and insights. See the section below.
- Device sensors. Depending on the missions you choose, Snoozless uses motion data, the camera, the microphone, or your location. This is processed on your device to verify you completed a mission and is not stored or transmitted by us.
- Sleep sound tracking. When you track a night with sound tracking on, Snoozless uses the microphone to measure your sleep from sound: it computes per-minute loudness and movement levels on your device, and it may save short audio clips of notable sounds (such as snoring, sleep talking, or room noise) so you can replay them in the morning. These clips are stored only on your device, are never uploaded or shared with us or anyone else, are automatically deleted after about a week, and can be deleted by you at any time. The same on-device sound analysis can ring your alarm at a light-sleep moment if you enable a smart wake window. Sound tracking is optional and can be turned off in Sleep settings.
- Referral data. If you use the referral program, we store your referral code and the count of successful referrals to calculate rewards.
- Purchases. Subscriptions are processed by Apple. We receive a subscription status from Apple but never your card or payment details.
- Diagnostics. We use Sentry to collect crash reports and error diagnostics (including device and app-state information at the time of a crash) to fix bugs and improve stability. This is not used for advertising or for tracking you across other companies' apps.
Apple Health (HealthKit)
Connecting Apple Health is optional. When connected:
- Snoozless reads your sleep data and does not read any other Health categories. It only ever writes to Health if you turn on the optional "save my Snoozless-tracked nights to Apple Health" setting — and then only the sleep sessions Snoozless itself recorded.
- Your Health data is processed on your device to display sleep duration, stages, your sleep consistency score and related insights.
- A derived sleep score and streak (not your raw Health data) may be synced to your account so your progress restores across devices and, if you opt in, appears on leaderboards.
- We never use Health data for advertising or marketing, never sell it, and never share it with third parties.
- You can revoke Snoozless's access at any time in the Health app under Sharing → Apps.
How we use your information
- To schedule and ring your alarms and run wake-up missions.
- To show your streaks, achievements, stats and sleep insights.
- To provide premium features to subscribers and to operate the referral program.
- To respond to support requests and fix problems.
Third parties we work with
- Apple — Sign in with Apple, subscriptions (StoreKit), and HealthKit. Governed by Apple's privacy policy.
- Supabase — our backend host, used to store account, wake-up sync and referral data for signed-in users.
- GoMarketMe — our partner-program platform. If you install Snoozless through a partner's link, its SDK attributes the install and any purchases to that partner so they can be paid. It works without your name, email, or advertising identifiers, and does not use App Tracking Transparency identifiers. If you join the partner program yourself, your partner account is held with GoMarketMe under their privacy policy.
- Sentry — crash reporting and error diagnostics, used only to diagnose and fix problems. Governed by Sentry's privacy policy.
We do not work with advertising networks and we do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
Data retention & deletion
Data stored on your device is removed when you delete the app. For signed-in users, you can request deletion of your account data by emailing us at the address below; we will delete it within 30 days.
Children
Snoozless is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect data in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is ever completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date.
